In therapy this week, E. agreed to send me a card that I could keep while she was on vacation or even other times when I might feel disconnected from her and alone in my healing work. I liked the sentiment and art on the card and scanned it to share.
Then inside the card, she wrote to me:
I hope this card finds you well and content. You are doing such deep and powerful work on your journey to restore your spirit to its rightful place of honor. I see how hard this work can be and I also see the relief you feel as you bring more inner harmony and kindness into your daily life. You are courageous and tenacious. Know that I am with you all the way.
