It’s a sneak. It pretends to retreat, giving you a bit of a reprieve. You take a deeper breath. You begin to make plans. Maybe you tell people you are feeling better. And then it creeps back to you, crawling into your ear and taking your thoughts in a dark direction. You realize your first thoughts upon waking focus on ways to hurt yourself. Not again, you think.

There is such truth to this. And it’s weird because while making plans I’m usually wondering why I haven’t done these things sooner and it all seems so easy at the time.

Yes i completely understand. When we are feeling low it’s hard to believe that things will be ok. The feelings take over and the hardest thing is to seperate ourselves from it.
